Undergraduate students from underrepresented groups: Arabs, Ethiopian-Israelis, Haredi, periphery and first-generation students in higher education, who are in their second or third year studying physics, chemistry, life sciences, medicine, math and computer science.
As a participant you will join a research group at the Weizmann Institute of Science for a concise eight-week period during the summer months of 2022 (June-September). The exact starting point of your association with the research group, as well as what is expected of you in terms of practical activities, will be coordinated and agreed upon with the head of the research group.
A commitment of eight weeks of continuous work is required, on the Weizmann campus in Rehovot, subsidized housing will be offered based on availability and needs.
Applications will be open on February 1st until Feb 20, 2022
Young Weizmann Scholars receive a fellowship of 15,000 NIS upon completion of the program.

In the first stage, all candidates will be academically screened. An acceptance or rejection notice will be sent to everyone. Students admitted to the program will be invited to an orientation day where they will receive information about the program and assistance in electing a research group. Students admitted to the program will receive personal guidance.
