The program

An educational opportunity for you become involved in cutting-edge experimental or theoretical research under the guidance of scientists at the Weizmann Institute.

Who may apply

Undergraduate students from the Arab sector who are in their second, third or fourth year, studying Physics, Chemistry or Life Sciences.

Prerequisites

  • Sincere interest in science
  • High proficiency in English
  • A point grade average of 85 and above

(previous experience in scientific research may be an advantage, but not a requirement)

Optional tracks

Participants are given a choice to join a research group at the Weizmann Institute for a concise eight-week period during the summer months of 2019 (i.e. June-September), or for half a day per week during the 2019/2020 academic year. In both configurations the exact starting point of your association with the research group as well as what is practically expected of you is coordinated and agreed upon directly with the Head of the research group you wish to join.

  • CV (the first page of the CV should include a passport photo);
  • Current official transcript of courses and grades;
  • Copy of ID card.
  • Letters of reference (an advantage). The letters should be emailed by the referees directly to one of the email addresses listed.
